A: My name is Kathryn McMillan and I’ve been a Video Producer since 1992. I started New Vision Videos in 1996 to help non-profit organizations create awareness of their causes. I’ve written and produced hundreds of television programs, commercials and web videos for small businesses and government agencies. When not working behind the camera on corporate films, I utilize my camera-eye as a Location Scout helping out of town producers find the perfect location to shoot in Florida!
A: I look at beautiful images, go outside into nature, take a destination-less drive and pray for inspiration. God & the Universe never let me down.
A: Working for Steven Spielberg capturing interviews of Holocaust Survivors for his Survivors of the Shoah Foundation.
A: There are way too many favorite projects to pick just one because I’ve been very blessed to have great clients. I did travel overseas as a Director of Photography shooting in over 10 countries such as Peru, Burma, China and Thailand. That was an experience!
A: Advertising is constantly changing, and since the younger generations have less attention span and older generations are becoming more tech savvy, I surround myself by both so my future looks bright!
A: I’ve felt at home here for 30 years and I love that I can work and play in paradise. Just the way it is.
A: If I didn’t work in advertising, I’d be a songwriter. Or a starfish.

A. Just because you own a camera, doesn’t mean you are a video production company or agency. There are reasons why we write what we write, shoot what we shoot, add the effects we edit, and distribute to who the audience really is and should be. It’s science, skill, and luck.
