Social media influencers are people who have the power to sway public opinion on any number of topics – food, travel, where to stay, etc. Then there are those who influence the built environment of social media. One such pioneer, Nick Cicero, will be addressing the American Advertising Federation of Daytona Beach at its May 26 Lunch Break, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bill France Room at Daytona International Speedway.
Cicero, the founder and CEO of Delmondo, put the first Instagram video on television for Oprah. He will be discussing their new platform that provides a way for brands and media companies to find and contract with the most relevant influencers, produce content together, and then use Delmondo's analytics tools to measure the results of that co-created content. SnapChat has become one of the fastest growing social media channels among younger audiences and many brands struggle to find a way to utilize SnapChat in their marketing. Cicero and his agency, Delmondo, have mastered the art of SnapChat video content. In a recent interview with Forbes, Cicero explains how their platform created a way to bring analytics to SnapChat to measure the impact of their campaigns. His company has also been featured in AdWeek, Business Insider, The Wall Street Journal and many other reputable publications. On May 26th, you'll have the opportunity to hear Cicero's take on social media and ask questions after his presentation.
Cicero started his first company when he was just 17, writing music for television shows and major hip-hop stars. As a composer, he quickly built his network of musicians, bloggers and other social influencers. By the time he was 25, he was leading teams at ad agencies, brands and software companies. Prior to founding Delmondo, Cicero spent time building and implementing new enterprise social publishing and analytics tools with Livefyre, Expion and Percolate. He also built an innovative social content experience for the PlayStation launch in North America, among other projects.
The AAF Daytona Beach is excited to bring Nick Cicero as our speaker for the final luncheon of our 2015/2016 year.
